How to use Compare Charts in the Plan Authoring

Use the Compare Chart function to visually compare multiple scenarios within your advice documents and plan presentation. This powerful visualisation tool helps clients understand the differences between strategies.

Available Compare Charts

Total Regular Income

Total Net Cashflow

Total Income Support

Total Tax

Total Assets

Total Assets (PV)

Total Net Assets

Liabilities deduct v NonDeduct

Superannuation - Client

Superannuation - Partner

Pension Assets - Client

Pension Assets - Partner

Pension Income - Client

Pension Income - Partner

Returns


Add Compare Charts

Within a plan

  1. Within the Modelling Chevron

  2. Under the Compare Chart tab

  3. Click the Compare button

  4. Select the Scenarios to compare, the Charts, and in which areas the charts are to be included

  5. Click Save

View Compare Charts

  1. Click the (hyperlinked) Name of the Compare Chart

  2. OR

  3. Click the vertical ellipse inline with the chart

  4. Select View Chart

  5. Tick where to include the chart Body/Appendix/Presentation

  6. * To set a period view Click All Periods

  7. Select Save

  8. Select Close

Include Compare Charts in the Advice Document Body, Appendix, or Presentation in Bulk

  1. Tick the left box of the compare charts

  2. Click the Update Section button

  3. Tick Body/Appendix/Presentation

  4. Select Apply

Adjust the Periods of Compare Charts in Bulk

  1. Tick the left box of the compare charts

  2. Click the Update Periods button

  3. Use the drop-down option to choose the number of periods to display

  4. Select Apply

TIP: The period settings help you focus on key timeframes while avoiding cluttered charts. Use fewer periods for cleaner presentations, or show all periods for comprehensive analysis.

Delete Compare Charts

  1. Click the vertical ellipse inline with the chart

  2. Select Delete

Delete Compare Charts in Bulk

  1. Tick the left box of the compare charts

  2. Click the Delete Charts button
