Plan Authoring: Scope of Advice Fails to Load

Scope of Advice pages do not load correctly when working across multiple workspaces in separate browser sessions

Updated over a week ago

Overview

This issue affects users who create and manage plans across multiple workspaces. When multiple browser sessions are open for different workspaces simultaneously, the Scope of Advice pages can fail to load correctly. In some cases, an error message stating a lack of permission may also appear.

Why This Happens

Advice Designer uses your active browser session to determine which workspace is in context. When multiple sessions are running across different workspaces at the same time, the session context can conflict, causing the Scope of Advice section to fail to load as expected.

How to Fix It

Try this first β€” refreshing your browser session resolves the issue in most cases.

Simply refresh your browser. The Scope of Advice section should return to displaying a normal listing of all scope areas.

If refreshing alone does not resolve the issue, follow these steps to re-establish the correct workspace context:

  1. Refresh your browser session.

  2. Click the Avatar icon in the top right corner.

  3. Select Workspaces.

  4. Select the workspace in which the plan exists.

  5. Using either the Plans tab or Recent Plans, navigate to the plan.

  6. Click on the Scope chevron.

Still Seeing the Issue?

If the Scope of Advice section still fails to load after following the steps above, contact the Advice Designer support team.
