Plan Authoring: ATP Code Tags

Updated today

Code tags are dynamic placeholders. When a plan/review is generated, Advice Designer automatically replaces each tag with the corresponding data from the plan/review or client record — no manual entry required.

These tags populate core document-level information.

[DOCUMENTTYPESHORT]

💡 Note: FSG version and date are managed in your Workspace or Licensee settings. Keep these up to date to ensure compliant disclosure across all generated documents.

Conditional (IF) Tags

Conditional tags display or suppress content based on the attributes of the current plan.

They work in pairs: an opening tag and a closing tag wrap the content to be shown or hidden.

How they work:

  • Content placed between [IFTAG] and [ENDIFTAG] only appears when the condition is true.

  • Content placed between [IFNOTTAG] and [ENDIFNOTTAG] only appears when the condition is false.

Example — joint plan:

[IFJOINT]This advice has been prepared for you and your partner.[ENDIFJOINT]

[IFNOTJOINT]This advice has been prepared for you.[ENDIFNOTJOINT]

In a joint plan, the first sentence appears; in a single-client plan, the second sentence appears.
