The Strategies section sits within the Review stage of the authoring workflow. It displays the strategies that have been scoped for the review and allows you to control whether strategy commentary is included in the output document.
Strategies are drawn from the Scope stage and are listed by client or entity. Each strategy displays the Strategy name and the Strategy Heading that will appear in the document.
Navigating to Strategies
Open the relevant Review plan from your Dashboard or Plans menu
Progress to the Review stage using the workflow progress bar at the top of the screen
Select the Strategies tab from the sub-navigation menu beneath the progress bar

Include Strategy Commentary
The Include Strategy Commentary field controls whether a strategy commentary section appears in the output document.
Locate the Include Strategy Commentary dropdown at the top of the Strategies section
Click the dropdown to expand it
Select Yes or No

💡 Note: This field is mandatory (marked with an asterisk). It defaults to No. Select Yes if you want strategy commentary to appear as a section in the Review output document.
Strategy table
The Strategy table lists each strategy scoped for this review. Each row displays:
Column | Description |
Strategy for | The client or entity the strategy applies to (e.g. individual client name, SMSF name, or Joint) |
Strategy | The strategy selected during Scope — links through to the strategy detail view |
Strategy Heading | The heading that will appear in the output document for this strategy |

Viewing a strategy
Locate the strategy in the table
Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) at the end of the strategy row
Select View to open the strategy detail
Editing Review details
Certain top-level review settings — including the document type and previous advice document — can be adjusted via the Edit Review Details modal.
Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) in the top-right corner of the plan header (the main authoring menu)
Select Edit Review Details
Update the relevant fields (see field reference below)
Click Save

Edit Review Details — field reference
Field | Description |
Scenario Name * | The name of this review scenario as it appears in the plan list |
Document Type * | The type of review document being produced (e.g. Review Statement of Advice) |
Document Date * | The date of the document in dd/mm/yyyy format |
Previous Advice Document | Select the type of the client's most recent advice document. Used to contextualise the review in the output |
Include Investment Review Reports | Toggle on to include investment review reports as an appendix in the output document |
