How to manage insurance commentary and policies within the Review workflow

The Insurance tab within the Review stage of the authoring workflow, if included, allows you to record insurance commentary, view policies imported from Xplan, and manually add/edit/delete policies where required.

šŸ’” Note: For the Insurance tab to appear and for insurance data to be included in the output document, Review Insurance must be ticked, either upon creation or enabled in an existing review


Navigating to Insurance

  1. Open the relevant Review from your Dashboard or Reviews tabs

  2. Progress to the Review chevron

  3. Select the Insurance sub-tab


Include Insurance Commentary

The Include Insurance Commentary field controls whether a dedicated insurance commentary section appears in the output document & presentation.

  1. Click the Include Insurance Commentary dropdown

  2. Select Yes

Use this field to provide your overall commentary on the client's insurance position — for example, noting whether coverage remains appropriate, any gaps identified, or changes recommended since the last review.
