By default, Asset Classes and Risk Profiles are managed at the Licensee level and apply to all connected Workspaces.
If a Workspace needs to maintain its own Asset Classes or Risk Profiles — for example, to match a specific Xplan configuration — you can grant that Workspace permission to manage this content itself.
💡 Note: This permission is set per Workspace, by a Licensee Admin. Individual advisers cannot enable this themselves.
How to enable Workspace-level customisation
Navigate to the Licensee.
Click on the Workspaces tab.
Find the relevant Workspace in the list.
Click the Vertical Ellipse "⋮" next to that Workspace.
Select Permissions.
In the Permission to Manage Content window, use the Can manage risk profiles dropdown to select Yes.
Click Save to apply the change.
💡 Note: Setting this to Yes allows Admin users within that Workspace to add, edit and archive their own Asset Classes and/or Risk Profiles, independent of the Licensee default.
What Workspace Admins can do once enabled
Once enabled, Workspace Admins will see Asset Classes and/or Risk Profiles become editable within their own Workspace settings, rather than inheriting the Licensee's list.
💡 Note: If you later set this back to No, the Workspace will revert to using the Licensee's Asset Classes and Risk Profiles.
