Archiving a client removes them from your active workspace while preserving their data for compliance purposes.
This soft deletion method ensures data integrity while decluttering your active client list.
Archived clients are filtered out by default from all views and searches.
💡Note: Only an Admin user has access to archive client profiles. Whilst you cannot unarchive a client once it has been archived, you can reimport their profile into Advice Designer.
Important
When archiving a client group entity (Client/Partner), all associated partner/entity profiles and plans will be automatically archived together.
When archiving a related entity, the client and partner profiles are not automatically archived. Upon confirmed archival plans in draft/draft archived, will remove the related entity. Published plans retain the other entity profile.
How to archive a client(s)
Click on the Clients tab (top left)
In line with the intended client, click on the vertical ellipse "⋮"
Select Archive
Select Confirm to proceed with archival
🥇Tip: Once a client has been archived, users can reimport the profiles again.
