The modelling preferences functionality allows workspace admins to configure and manage default projections and charts for advisors within their workspace. This helps streamline the process of selecting relevant data for different strategies and scenarios.
💡Note: Modelling Preferences can only be added/managed by users with an Admin role.
Add Modelling Preferences
Preferences can be configured for both projections and charts, allowing admins to specify which ones should be displayed by default for different advisors or strategies.
Click on your Avatar icon
Select My profile
Click on the Workspace tab
In line with the Workspace intended, click on the vertical ellipse icon and select View
Click on the Modelling Preferences tab
Click Add Modelling Preference
Capture a Name (50 characters limit & must be unique for the workspace)
Select the Section (Projections/Charts)
Select the Projections/Charts - this is a searchable field, which allows type searches
Search and select the adviser(s) - Will only list active advisers within the workspace
Click Save
💡 Note: An adviser can only have one default per section (Charts and Projections). The last adviser default set will take precedence.
TIP: Although the adviser default will be automatically applied. Multiple sets of preferences can be created, tailored to different strategies or advisor needs.
This allows users to focus on relevant information for specific strategies.
Our Example is a preference in the event of a Trust recommendation
Edit Modelling Preferences
Preference sets can be updated, and changes will be reflected in new plans created.

Click on the Workspace tab
In line with the Workspace intended, click on the vertical ellipse icon and select View
Click on the Modelling Preferences tab
Click on the vertical ellipse ' ⋮ ' icon and select Edit
💡Note: If the modelling preferences configurations are updated, the changes will only apply to new plans created. Existing plans will retain the preferences set at the time of their creation.
Remove Modelling Preferences
Preferences can be removed. Existing plans will retain the preferences set at the time of their creation.

In line with the Workspace intended, click on the vertical ellipse icon and select View
Click on the Modelling Preferences tab
Click on the vertical ellipse ' ⋮ ' icon and select Remove
