Insurance settings in Advice Designer are managed at three levels. The Licensee sets the Approved Product List (APL) and decides whether Workspaces and users can tailor it. The Workspace sets the default assumptions used for every insurance quote. Each User can then narrow the APL to the providers they recommend.
Work through the levels in that order, as each level can only narrow what the level above allows.
đĄ Note: Licensee and Workspace settings can only be managed by users with an Admin role. Any user can set their own User Insurance APL, if the Licensee allows it.
Set an Insurance APL
Each user can narrow the APL to the providers they recommend.
Click Set User Insurance APL
Tick the providers to approve in each category
Click Save
đĄ Note: If a provider is missing from your quotes, check it is ticked in the Licensee, Workspace and User APLs. Closing a window with the X or Cancel discards your changes, and Reset to Defaults restores the standard settings.
